Also known as Turkish sage produces pale yellow whorls at intervals up the stem from late spring to autumn. The seed heads should be left on over winter as they look good covered in frost. The leaves are velvety grey green. Phlomis needs plenty of space in full sun in any well drained soil.
Grows to a height and spread of 90 cm. Very hardy
