Astilbe Red Baron

Although deciduous this astilbe is attractive from its first appearance in spring when the purple flushed dark green leaves first emerge. The burgundy flower buds follow from the beginning of summer lasting through to October. Grow in moist soil in part shade or full sun. Grows to a height of 60cm and spread of 50cm.
