Aster amellus 'Brilliant

A fine aster for planting at the front or mid border, flowering earlier than other asters in August it has large bright pink liac petals on upright dark maroon stems over mid green leaves. Plant in well drained soil in full sun where it will grow to a height of 60cm and 45cm spread. This hardy variety has many attributes as a cut flower, long flowering, attractive to bees and is mildew resistant.
