Salvia x jamensis 'Nachtvlinder' (Night Moth)

Dark rich velvety plum, purple almost black flowers on this gorgeous salvia quite hardy here survived this winter at -12c in a well-drained site the leaves darkened slightly but new growth is appearing. Flowers over a long period from June to autumn if faded flowers are regularly removed. Grow in full sun in moist but well drained soil. Grows to a height of 75cm and spread of 50cm.
