Hakonechloa macra 'Aurola'

An eye-catching, ornamental grass, it's vivid bright green and yellow leaves cascade into elegant mounds, in full sun they can develop a reddish tinge. Sprays of pale green flowers appear in late summer. Can be grown in full sun, full shade or part shade in moist soil.  Planted on path edges or as an understorey to shrubs or in containers it looks stunning. grows to a height 45cm and spread of 35cm,  though deciduous it is hardy to -20C.
