 It's origins trace back to the late 19th century when it was first introduced by renowned Scottish plant breeder, William Kelway. Named in honor of Lady Stratheden, the wife of a Scottish nobleman, this cultivar quickly gained popularity among garden enthusiasts for its striking appearance and easy cultivation. Clusters of large semi-double golden yellow flowers on upright stems over mounds of mid green leaves. In bloom over a large period throughout summer.  Best in well drained soil in full sun but tolerates part shade.  Perfect for cottage gardens ht borders and containers Grows to a height of 1m and spread of 50cm
